Milan Malpensa Airport has two terminal buildings with scheduled flights operating out of Terminal 1 and charter flights from Terminal 2. A free shuttle bus connecting the two terminals runs at 15 minute intervals twenty-four hours a day.
The departures check-in area of Malpensa Terminal 1 is located at the second floor. It offers some excellent facilities including a chemist, banks, cash points, currency exchange, vat refund, newsagents, bookshops, beauty centre/hairdressing salon and a laundry service.
You can spend your time doing last minute shopping in the departures lounge on the first floor or you can get something to eat and drink with a choice of restaurants, snack bars and fast food outlets. At the Snack Corners you can sample typical Italian food or international specialties.
At Malpensa T1 check-in floor there is an area dedicated to the children with play rooms equipped with slides and games to keep younger members of the family occupied while they are waiting for their flights.
The deparatures check-in area of Malpensa Terminal 2 is located at ground floor where you will find a chemist, banks, post office, currency exchange, newsstands and bookshops. There are also a number of shops and again places to where you can get something to eat and drink while waiting for your flight.
